Who We Are
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. We envision a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
Why Habitat is Needed
In Indiana, the average hourly wage necessary to afford a two‐bedroom FMR unit is $14.03; more than half of Hoosier renters (52%) cannot afford the fair market rate, according to an Indiana 211 Partnership Community Report. Learn more about the need for affordable housing in our community.

Tithe Partner Program
Our tithe program supports carefully chosen building and shelter projects. Our partner countries are El Salvador and Kenya. We are proud to have contributed over $2 million in tithes to our partners worldwide, enabling us to further our mission of creating a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
Where We are Going
The need for affordable housing grows as the cost and challenges to provide it also abound. Learn more about how we are rising to the challenge in our 2022-2024 Strategic Vision and Priorities.
