Home Repair

The purpose of the Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity Home Repair Loan Program is to foster and maintain affordable, decent, and safe housing in our community.

The program is designed to help low-income homeowners who are struggling to maintain the integrity of their homes. As the program has developed, the current repairs are being completed in focus neighborhoods and typically involve more significant repairs. Financial assistance to eligible homeowners is in the form of a 0% interest, partial repayment loan based on the homeowner’s income. There is a limit of one approved program loan per household per year.

*Please note: Due to high interest in this program, we are no longer accepting applications.

Eligible repairs include, but are not limited to:

  • Roofing and gutter repair
  • Sidewalk, porch, and patio repair
  • Accessibility
  • Siding repair and replacement
  • Window repair and replacement
  • Insulation
