Director of Construction Projects

The Director of Construction Projects manages the Project Managers, who are responsible for keeping new homes under construction and are built on schedule, in a quality manner, and within budget. The DCP ensures that Project Managers are living up to the keystone motto of visiting “every site, every room, every day”. The DCP works closely with the Purchasing Manager to facilitate a good stewardship of Habitat’s financial resources. The DCP also works closely with the Director of Construction Services to support Site Leaders which provide a positive and productive experience for volunteers. This position is also responsible for filing permits, which includes getting supporting documentation, and working with Land Acquisition & Development Director to clear lots.

Mortgage Coordinator

The Mortgage Coordinator is responsible for tracking and monitoring the approval status of homebuyers from the point of program acceptance through closing. This role ensures the timely and accurate preparation of all loan packages originated by the Homeownership Department. Key responsibilities include verifying the completeness and accuracy of all documentation, as well as ordering and coordinating all necessary loan documents for closing and/or secondary market sale.

Purchasing Manager

The Purchasing Manager secures bids and quotes for home construction projects, projects build costs, and issues purchase orders to subcontractors and suppliers. They manage inventory costs, maintain warehouse materials for the
build site and oversee stock for build sites and vehicles. The role includes expanding the contractor pool for competitive pricing, ensuring compliance with grant requirements, and approving invoices. This role is responsible for maintaining vendor relationships and course correction of partnerships, ensuring compatibility with Habitat values, standards and our mission. Additionally, they manage Habitat’s fleet of trucks and trailers of trucks, trailers and heavy construction equipment.
