Greater Indy Habitat Young Professionals (GIHYP) is a community of emerging leaders who come together to build homes, make connections, and support affordable housing in Greater Indianapolis. Through hands-on volunteer days, social events, and learning opportunities, members make a real impact while meeting like-minded peers.

YPs have quarterly build days and participate in other volunteer projects throughout the year to support the local families that Habitat serves.
The group holds monthly social & networking events with opportunities to find your new favorite place in Indy and meet like-minded individuals in the community.
YPs participate in educational and advocacy events throughout the year, including Habitat Indiana’s annual Lobby Day at the statehouse.
Putts & Pints is the GIHYP annual fundraising event in June, where Fountain Square breweries and restaurants each host a putt-putt golf hole. Teams make their way through each stop, playing mini-golf and supporting Habitat. Stay tuned for details for this year’s event!
