Greater Indy Habitat is excited to return to the Indiana State Fair to construct a new home for a first-time homebuyer, all on the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Alongside generous returning sponsors and 300+ volunteers, LaToya will build her entire home in just three weeks during the fair!

Meet LaToya
“Homeownership is much more than one who owns land and property. For me it’s about building a stronger community.”
LaToya is a special needs teacher at Worthmore Academy and she attends Good Samaritan Baptist Church. After college, LaToya lived with and cared for her mother; and now, she’s ready to purchase her first home with Habitat.
“I look forward to hosting my first holiday dinner preferable Thanksgiving, or Christmas. I look forward to making a menu full of my mother’s recipes, putting up decorations, and extending my greatest hospitality.”
