IU Health partners with Habitat for Day of Service
On May 18, 2012, Habitat for Humanity had the pleasure of partnering with Indiana University Health facilities state-wide for their annual Day of Service in an effort to build safe and affordable housing for Indiana Hoosiers. The Greater Indianapolis affiliate was able to complete 8 panel builds at 4 IU Health sites- Methodist, Shadeland, IUPUI, and Fairbanks. The panels constructed at these locations will serve as the framework for homes built in 2012. Across the state, other Habitat affiliates also partnered with IU Health to bring the total number of panels built up to 25, 3 of which will be given to families in Henryville affected by this year's devastating tornado.
